Check it out

We decided that we'd take every major part of the car apart while in the shop rather than discover issues trackside. Additionally our plan was to simplify everything we could to remove as many potential issues as possible.

Before removing the powerplant of the car we'd need to power up and what would be more appropriate than with some V8.

38lbs of A/C parts no longer needed
More stuff heading off to Bimmer heaven......
the hardest part in getting the powertrain out was deciding where to hook up the chains.
We ended up hooking them to the motor mounts and then just guiding the trans by hand

Fat Camp

Getting the car prepped for the 24hrs of Lemons Race means that we are on a tight budget ($500). We decided to pursue the ancient black art for more speed...adding lightness.
